Defective Material Report Module
The Defective Material Report module enables you to record and track materials within your system that have been labeled as defective. The record contains information on the related vendor (if the material is vendor-provided), a description of the deficiency and what action steps are required for the product. Data can be viewed by product or by vendor and reported in these groupings as well.
The DMRs page enables you to add, edit or view defective material records. This page includes detailed information on the item, a description of the deficiencies and disposition information. Depending on the level of access, you will be able to view, create DMR records or edit fields within the DMR record.

A user can add, edit or view a Deviation Waiver Request (DWR). A Deviation Waiver Request is used to document situations where defective material is to be used in its defective or substandard state. It includes fields that explain why the material will be used in its current condition as well as the names of the authorizing personnel.
Reports
There are seven standardized reports available in the Defective Material Reports module. These reports can be accessed from the Reports link on the Defective Material Reports menu. One of the reports, DMR Match Criteria, displays a popup dialog box which enables the user to enter any combination of criteria. When submitted, a group of defective material records, that match the criteria, are displayed.
