Corrective / Preventative Action Module
The Corrective Action module enables you to write and track corrective and preventive action requests as well as internal and customer complaints. These CARs (Corrective Action Requests) and PARs (Preventive Maintenance Requests) can be created and then are subsequently monitored and responded to by the appropriate individuals or departments. A variety of reports include CAR:Initial Review Due, CAR:Initial Review Past due, CAR:Summary, PAR:Initial Review Due, PAR:Initial Review Past Due, and PAR:Summary.

When new documents are inserted into Corrective Action, Preventive Action, Customer Complaints or Internal Complaints, an email is automatically sent to the Facilitator for the particular module (defined in Notification) Edit Facilitators, in addition, a notification record is created for the Facilitator to alert them the next time they log in to the eQMS.
Depending on your level of access, you will be able to view and/or maintain corrective and preventive requests, customer complaints, internal complaints, as well as print a summary and filtered reports.
Reports
There are ten standards reports available in the Corrective Action module. These reports can be accessed from the Reports link on the Corrective Action menu. One of the reports, Corrective Action Match Criteria, displays a popup dialog box which enables the user to enter any combination of criteria. When submitted, a group of corrective action records, that match the criteria, are displayed.
