Industrial maintenance mechanics work in a wide variety of settings. Most are employed in medium to large manufacturing companies. Jobs are found in processing plants, chemical production facilities and automotive industry. Service technicians may travel about a city performing specialized maintenance.How long does it take to get a certificate or degree?
It only takes one semester in the program to be job ready. Typically, our students will then get a job and take courses part time to complete the associate in applied science degree over a three-to-four-year period.Will my credits transfer to another college or university?
Yes! Most general education courses will transfer without problem. This program has a formal transfer agreement with DeVry University. Check with your advisor or counselor and the transfer institution to make sure your transfer will go smoothly.How much money can I make in this career?
