About the Center:
The Maple Woods
Writing Center provides a place where you can receive
help writing essays, business letters, resumes, research
papers, college applications, etc. We believe that writing
does not have to be a solitary process; therefore, our
talented writing consultants,
who staff the Center, provide a professional, effective
learning environment where collaboration about the writing
process can occur.
You are not required
to make an appointment to collaborate with a writing consultant,
although you are encouraged to do so. Appointments range
from 30 to 60 minutes in length. You can schedule an appointment
by writing your name on the appointment calendar in the
Writing Center, located in the Humanities Building, Room
105, or you can call (816) 437-3191 or 437-3190.
