The North Star Geology Club is a community club that meets on the second Friday of each month at 7:00PM in Math Science Building, Room 207 at Maple Woods Community College.
 

Free membership is available to students and members of the community who like to collect rocks, minerals and fossils or who want to learn more about the geology, geography, and atmosphere of the earth.

The speaker is our own club member Nancy Horton

The Topic:   Pleistocene Fossils of Collier County, Florida. Nancy took a lot of pictures while on a professional field trip and brought back beautiful specimens.

Free and open to the public

Participation in the annual Kansas City Gem and Mineral Show
US Geological Survey Volunteer Corps
