Reference questions?
Ask a Librarian.
Instructors may schedule library instruction sessions and tours by coming to the Reference Desk (Learning Resources Building, 1st floor) or by calling the reference librarians at 816.604.4081 or 816.604.4082. Library instructions can be designed to focus on a specific assignment with demonstrations in using the library online catalog, periodical databases and other library resources to locate and evaluate information. Information Literacy Instruction is given in LR 214. Librarians will also conduct library instructional classes in your classroom if requested.
Textbooks, exams, books and articles may be put on reserve in the Library for one semester if they conform to copyright laws. You determine the length of the checkout period. Please remind your students they need a library card (Student I.D.) or current picture I.D. to check out any library materials. Contact the Circulation Desk at 816.604.4080 for more information.
