Ambassadors

The Maple Woods Baseball Team is a member of the Division 1 Missouri XVI and the National Junior College Athletic Association.The team is nationally ranked.

The National Society of Professional Engineers sponsors a student chapter at Maple Woods. Membership is open to anyone interested in engineering. Participation will provide the following benefits: Membership in both National and Missouri Societies; Study Groups; Scholarships and Activity Grants; Field Trips and Speakers; Monthly Newsletter from the National Society; Social Functions.

Phi Theta Kappa
The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is an international organization that recognizes scholarly achievement .Qualified students have an overall 3.5 GPA, and have completed at least 12 credit hours of class work. Monthly meetings, service and social activities as well as scholarship opportunities are available through this organization.

Softball - Women's
The Maple Woods Women’s Softball Team is a member of the Region XVI Fastpitch Softball Division I and the National Junior College Athletic Association. Their fall season includes 20 games ending in mid-October. They usually play 60-70 games in the spring season, January through May.
Student Activities Council
The Council’s purpose is to plan, organize and implement educational, social and cultural events for the students of Maple Woods and the community.It is an opportunity for students to get involved and learn the skills of leadership, project management and working effectively with others .Students are selected at the beginning of the fall semester and are eligible to serve both the fall and spring semesters based upon their performance evaluation .Council members may be eligible for an activity grant .A time commitment of 4-6 hours a week, including a weekly meeting, is expected.
