Description

Learn the basics of business and you'll have the key to understanding the functions of the business world that are applicable to virtually every career. As a business professional, you'll be able to analyze and suggest ways to improve profits, productivity and organizational structure.

At MCC, you can choose from a robust selection of business courses, including business law, income taxes, entrepreneurship, accounting, human resource management, supervision, management, marketing, logistics and much more.

Choose from three paths:

Choose the two-year Associate in Arts in Business degree if you want to transfer to another college for a four-year degree, or haven't decided on a major. You'll cover 42 hours of gen ed courses, 12 hours of business education requirements and 5 hours of electives.This degree begins in the fall, but you can take courses now.

Choose the two-year Associate in Applied Science degree if you want employment in business right after getting your degree. You can select four areas of emphasis: accounting, logistics management, management or office management. You'll cover 18 hours of general education requirements with the remaining 45 hours devoted to general business courses and emphasis courses.

For quick entry into the field or to improve your skills, choose one of our two certificate programs that can be completed in less than a year.
