MCC Blue River- Department Profile
MCC Blue River Public Safety Department is located in the Campus Center Building, room 118. The Public Safety Management Office is located in the Campus Center Building, room 118A.
The Public Safety Department is responsible for student safety awareness, crime prevention, physical security, access control, safety escort services, vehicle registration, enforcement of campus policies, enforcement of traffic regulations, accident/injury reporting, and investigations.
The Public Safety Manager compiles crime statistics, provides training to Public Safety personnel, acts as liaison to local police, and conducts follow-up investigations. The Public Safety Manager is the contact person for Blue River Public Safety and can be reached at 816-604-6732
The Public Safety Officers conduct routine campus patrol- mobile and foot, lend assistance to students and employees, respond to incidents, and provide on campus escorts.
