Maple Woods Monarchs Softball

MCC-Maple Woods is proud to announce Kerry Casper has been named Head Coach for the college's softball team. Coach Casper comes from Ottawa University where she served as the assistant coach for two years. In her second season at OU, she assisted the team to a record-breaking 2008 season for wins finishing 31-19, and helping the pitchers to significantly decrease the team ERA. In her first season at OU, she helped the Lady Braves to a regular season KCAC co-championship and a berth to the NAIA Region XI tournament. Her emphasis was with pitchers, and also worked with catchers and outfielders. She is also a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
