Full-tuition scholarships are available for the Fall 2009 semester (Making It In KC program only). Eligibility will be determined by assessment results and awarded based on enrollment completion date. Call 816.482.5200 to schedule an appointment with an advisor, or for general inquiries.

About the Program

Let us prepare you for a fast-paced, technical career! Making It In KC is a training program that will give you the skills you need to succeed. The program blends technical and interpersonal skill development to give you the competitive advantage employers want.
You will develop skills in

  • Computer Literacy
  • Problem Saving
  • Teamwork
  • Applied Math
  • Manufacturing Principles

You will earn a 12-hour Manufacturing Technology Certificate, a 10-hour OSHA Card and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. You will be prepared for an entry-level position with a Kansas City manufacturer or you can transfer your completed credit hours to one of our associate degree programs.
We can help you with financial aid, and scholarships are available to qualifying students.
