Longview 40th Anniversary
In 1969, the same year as the moon landing, MCC-Longview also broke ground, opening our doors with a mission of "preparing students, serving communities, creating opportunities." As we reflect on four decades of growth in Jackson County, we look forward to many decades ahead and invite alumni, retirees, and the community to join our students, faculty, and staff to celebrate with us through a series of MCC-Longview 40th Anniversary events.

1969 . . . Get Back! Interactive Gallery Exhibit
Opening Reception: Friday, August 21, 5-8 p.m.
Take a trip back in time with an interactive display of history and culture from 1969. Have a seat in our 1969 living room, reminisce over retro books, art and music, and discover pieces from the first year of the campus.
