Civil engineering technicians plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of structures and facilities under the direction of engineering staff, architects or physical scientists.

Mechanical and manufacturing engineering technicians modify, develop and test machinery and equipment under direction of engineering staff or physical scientists.

Architectural Engineering Technologists apply engineering principles and technical skills to assist architects, engineers, and planners develop efficient buildings and related systems.

Electronic and Computer Engineering Technologists lay out, build, test, and increase the efficiency of electronic components.
