Course Features
“Writing
Intensive” is a curricular designation
indicating that
a specific set of writing experiences will occur in a course regardless of
the course content or discipline. This label is a signal to students that
a particular course offers these experiences.

course designated “WRITING INTENSIVE” will:

revision of project(s)
- Provide
student with oral and written response from instructor to drafts of
project(s) to provide feedback on performance and guidance for revision
- Provide an array of
writing opportunities, both formal and informal
