Student Right To Know
The Student Right to Know, Campus Security, and Compliance Report (pdf) is published on an annual basis and includes information which is of interest to current and prospective students and employees of Metropolitan Community College (MCC). The report includes the following sections:
Crime Awareness Report - contains information about security issues at the campuses. Major issues include:
Compliance Information - contains MCC’s Notice of Nondiscrimination and Access Notice (for students with disabilities), as well as information on policies regarding discrimination and harassment including sexual harassment, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), copyright infringement, and Tobacco-Free MCC. It also contains information on how to obtain MCC graduation, transfer, and retention rates, Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) data, graduate placement information, and student consumer information. Additionally, it includes MCC’s complaint notification.
College Nondiscrimination Statement
Drug-Free Workplace, Campus, and Community - contains information on MCC’s policies regarding the possession, use, and sale of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs, the enforcement of Federal and State drug laws, and the enforcement of State underage drinking laws. It also contains information on the uses and effects of drugs of abuse, Federal drug trafficking penalties, and Federal penalties and sanctions for illegal possession of a controlled substance. Information on MCC’s educational program on drug and alcohol abuse is described.
Students Who Have Received Athletically-Related Student Aid - lists the number of students, by gender and ethnicity, who received athletically related student aid. The numbers are listed by college and sport. Information is available for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 academic years. Unduplicated headcount by gender and ethnicity is also listed for each college
