Longview Literary Festival

About the Festival

The 2017 MCC-Longview Literary Festival will be held on Friday, October 27th at the Cultural Arts Center on the beautiful Longview campus. This year’s theme is “Alternate History” and “Time Travel.” The Keynote Speaker will be author, James L. Young. This 9th annual event will feature readings, panel discussions and writing workshops as well book sales and autographs.  We have lined up a wonderful guest list including authors Lindsey Martin-Bowen, Carl Rhoden, Linda Rodriquez, and Dennis Young.  A number of small press publishers and writers as well as critique groups will be joining us. Our guest list is constantly growing. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and is free-of-charge for all attendees. For more information contact Susan Satterfield at Susan.Satterfield@mcckc.edu.
