Blackboard is accessible through myMCCKC or this direct URL – https://bboard.mcckc.edu. Enrolled students can log in to Blackboard with their myMCCKC UserID and password. For login assistance, including password problems, contact TechLine at 816.604.1000.
MCC online courses are designed with the expectation that students will have regular access to current computer technology, up-to-date software, and a reliable broadband internet connection. Some courses require additional software installation; students must be able to install the necessary software on their computer to successfully complete the course. MCC cannot guarantee that all required course software will be available on campus computers.
Please check Blackboard Supported Browsers and Operating Systems to confirm that your operating system and browser are supported.
A supported browser must also be configured correctly. Use the Blackboard Settings Check to determine whether the necessary plugins and features are installed and enabled.
Please remember to log out of Blackboard when you are finished, especially when working on a public computer. Failure to logout may allow others to access your course information.
Word processing software is essential; Microsoft Word, Open Office, or Google Docs are recommended. Open Office (download) or Google Docs (available through a MCC student email account) are free word processing suites. MS Works is not supported.
