| The National Safety Council's annual report, Accident Facts, states that individuals in the age group 16-25 are more likely to be involved in highway crashes than individuals in the 26+ age groups. Driver Education provides a student driver the skills and mental attitudes to become the most competent, skillful, responsible driver possible. This serves as a base for parents to continue the instruction and supervision of their young driver in developing the necessary knowledge, skill and attitude needed to become a safe driver. Each three-week session will have both classroom and driving time. The state of Missouri requires a minimum of 30 classroom hours, six hours behind the wheel and twelve hours observation in the car with other student drivers. Classroom sessions will be held every day and students will drive multiple times through the week. Student must be 15 years of age at the start of the course. Monday - Friday, June 7 - 25 or Monday - Friday, July 12 - 30 Classroom time is 9:30 - 11:30 am or 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Driving time will vary but will be before or after classroom time.
