Application period: For fall semester, the second Wednesday in January through the fourth Wednesday in January (4:30 p.m.). For spring, the first Wednesday in August through the third Wednesday in August (4:30 p.m.)

Our program prepares the beginning nursing student to be a nurse generalist. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. This plan is a full-time day program. We encourage you to complete some, if not all of the general education courses, prior to being admitted to the program, as this will lighten the your load and allow you to focus on your nursing courses.

Progression in the nursing program is contingent upon: Semester one: PSYC 243 must be completed prior to semester two nursing courses.

Semester two: BIOL 208 must be completed prior to semester three nursing courses.

All general education courses can be completed in advance to decrease total credit hours for any given semester.

Evening Program Plan

Our program prepares the beginning nursing student to be a nurse generalist. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. This plan is a part-time program that takes six semesters, including summers, to complete. The schedule for nursing courses in the evening/weekend session will include class time one to two evenings a week with weekend clinical experiences.

We encourage you to complete some, if not all of the general education courses, prior to being admitted to the program, as this will lighten the your load and allow you to focus on your nursing courses.
