Process

Stage 1

MCC's Institutional Research (IR) office will provide the following data points (for all campuses) for the Discipline/Program in review:

  • Official Class Enrollment and Total Seat Count Total Credit Hours
  • Enrollment - Seat Count and Head Count by Campus
  • Average Credit Hours of Enrolled Students
  • Dual Credit Unduplicated Enrollment
  • Distribution of Grades and Success Rates
  • Mode of Instruction to include In-Person, Online, and Hybrid
  • Class Meeting Days and Times for In-Person, Online, and Hybrid classes
  • Completion
  • Fall to Spring and Fall to Fall Persistence
  • Unduplicated Enrollment by Gender, Ethnicity, and Age

  • Number of Completions
  • Mo SCORE Data
  • Occupation Change Summary

MCC's Accounting Services will provide the following data points (for all campuses) for the Discipline/Program in review:

  • Credit Hours
  • Accumulated Credit Hours
  • % of Accumulated Credit Hours
  • Tuition
  • College Perkins Allocation
  • Vocational Salary Reimbursement
  • Clinical Fees
  • Student Lab Contact Hours
  • Allocated Lab Fees
  • Other Fees tied to the account
  • Total Revenue
  • Total Direct Expenses
  • Summer and Part-time Faculty Wages
  • Net Contribution

Stage 2

With the data and financial details provided, Discipline/Program faculty will complete the Discipline/Program Review Data Analysis Worksheet.

Stage 3

Upon completion of the Discipline/Program Review Data Analysis Worksheet, Discipline/Program faculty will complete the Discipline/Program SWOT Analysis Chart.

Stage 4

The Discipline/Program Review report will be completed and submitted to the Vice Chancellor of Instruction/CAO of the college.

Stage 5

Upon completion of the Discipline/Program Review process, implement any changes or improvements identified and use the knowledge gained through the review process to inform the building of the budget and the allocation of resources and funding as well as strategic planning.
