Summit on Access, Persistence and Completion
Hosted by: The University of Kansas
September 7, 2018
Colleges and Universities in our region will continue to face many challenges in respect to access and completion for our diverse community. With factors like a decrease in graduating numbers of high schools students, preparation challenges at our high schools, not enough faculty and staff in the pipeline for jobs, and budgetary issues facing both the region. Our area colleges and universities will continue to face obstacles to prepare our students for academic success in an ever changing global society.
The goal of the Summit on Access, Persistence and Completion is to provide faculty and staff at our regional institutions the opportunity to discuss and share programs, ideas, strategies, and best practices that support recruitment and retention of under-represented populations.
This summit will give you insight into methods you can utilize now to dramatically improve access, persistence and completion--from experts who have proven success stories. Don't miss it!
