Cisco CCNP

Course Objective

The main objective of the class is to provide the student with all the knowledge and skills to pass all four CCNP exams.

The CCNP curriculum teaches the advanced skills required to manage end-to-end network infrastructures, and applications deployed on the edge of a network, such as wireless, security, and voice. Additional topics include converged networks, quality of service (QoS), VPNs, and broadband technologies. CCNP integrates next-generation network devices and services engineered to provide wire-speed delivery of concurrent data, voice, video, and wireless services with optimized security.

The Cisco CCNP® curriculum includes four modules, which align with the four exams required for CCNP certification. Each course is a standard 16-week semester. The CCNP curriculum builds on Cisco CCNA® courses with more complex network configurations, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.

Target Audience

Those desiring to continue their post-CCNA preparation for a career as a network administrator, Level 2 support engineer, Level 2 systems engineer, network technician, or deployment engineer. CCNA certified individuals pursuing CCNP, CCIP, CCSP, CCDP, or CCIE certifications.
