MCC Maple Woods (MW) Public Safety Department is located in the Administration Building, room 103.

The Public Safety Department is responsible for student safety awareness, crime prevention, physical security, access control, safety escort services, vehicle registration, enforcement of campus policies, enforcement of traffic regulations, accident/injury reporting, and investigations.

The Public Safety Manager compiles crime statistics, provides training to Public Safety personnel, acts as liaison to local police, and conducts follow-up investigations. The Public Safety Manager is the contact person for Maple Woods Public Safety and can be reached at 816-604-3055

The Public Safety Officers conduct routine campus patrol- mobile and foot, lend assistance to students and employees, respond to incidents, and provide on campus escorts.
