In response to the growing demand for quality clinical practice opportunities, MCC-Penn Valley has opened the Human Patient Simulation Laboratory (HPSL).
MCC-Penn Valley is committed through the use of the HPSL to providing state of the art educational opportunities to health care professionals, nursing and allied health students, as well as the community.
The HPSL uses cutting-edge technology to simulate real life patient care experiences through the use of high fidelity, computer-driven simulators that have the capability to simulate appropriate physiologic responses to a wide variety of interventions and treatments including intubation, medication administration, IV fluids, cardioversion, insertion of tubes and catheterization.
