If you have experienced sexual or interpersonal misconduct, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of MCC resources and file an official report with both the college and the police.

Below is a list of resources available to you if you are seeking support.

Speak with Someone

MCC offers free counseling and information to students who have experienced sexual or interpersonal misconduct. This information will be treated privately, but will be reported to the Title IX Coordinator of the campus the student attends. If a student wants complete confidentiality, the student should seek outside help. If you need help and do not speak English as your fist language, you can request an interpreter from Jewish Vocational Services.

The Counseling Offices at each campus will see you without an appointment if you have an emergency.

Notify the MCC and/or file an official complaint

MCC Police Department

If you choose to report an incident of sexual or interpersonal misconduct, you may register a Code of Student Conduct complaint with MCC Police Department. This is a separate process from filing a criminal complaint with law enforcement.

  • Phone: 816-604-1200
  • Hours: Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Title IX Coordinator

MCC’s Title IX Coordinators are responsible for overseeing all complaints of sexual or interpersonal misconduct, and will provide information about the grievance process and resources that the college can provide and is also the point of contact in the case of retaliation against any reporting party.

  • Name: Deans of Students (on each campus)
  • Phone: 816-604-1000

File a criminal report with the police

Kansas City Missouri Police Department

Law enforcement officials will assist you in filing an official complaint, and recording statements for a criminal case.
