Blackboard is accessible through myMCCKC or this direct URL – https://mcckc.blackboard.com. Enrolled students can log in to Blackboard with their myMCCKC UserID and password. For login assistance, including password problems, contact TechLine at 816.604.1000.
Attendance in Online Classes
You may or may not receive instructions from your instructor to your student email. Either way, it is your responsibility to login, participate, and submit assignments on time to be considered "attending." Check your instructor's syllabus for more information.
MCC online courses are designed with the expectation that students will have regular access to current computer technology, up-to-date software, and a reliable broadband internet connection. Some courses require additional software installation; students must be able to install the necessary software on their computer to successfully complete the course. MCC cannot guarantee that all required course software will be available on campus computers.
Please remember to log out of Blackboard when you are finished, especially when working on a public computer. Failure to logout may allow others to access your course information.
Blackboard Help for Students
Blackboard Help provides FAQs and searchable documentation for students. You can also view captioned how-to videos on a wide variety of topics by visiting the On Demand Learning Center. For 24/7 support, visit the StudentEduSupport Center.
Word processing software is essential; Microsoft Word, Open Office, or Google Docs are recommended. Open Office or Google Docs (available through a MCC student email account) are free word processing suites. MS Works is not supported.
