The most important thing to do is VISIT! Ask questions of staff, faculty and students to make sure you've found the right college for you. Here's how to make the most of your campus visit:

  • Research the school before you visit
  • Speak with faculty and staff who will serve as resources later
  • Sit in on a class
  • Read the college newspaper
  • Experience a campus activity
  • Inquire about campus safety
  • Determine actual cost of attending that school
  • Tour the residence halls or eat in the student center
  • Tour the town or community around the campus
