Use travel, history and hobbies to realize your dreams.

Travel America
Exploring our large and diverse country is a uniquely rewarding experience. There is so much to see! From standard tourist attractions to offbeat festivals, to visiting utopian communities and other tiny subcultures, America is a country like no other. And, it is SO worth seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and feeling! This seminar covers trip planning, transportation (e.g., air, auto, train, bus, motorcycle and RV), lodging, conventional tours, specialty vacation packages (summer camps for adults, cowboy/cowgirl vacations, spa packages, etc.). But, it doesn't stop there. Throughout this class, your instructor will present strategies and resources for reducing the cost of your American vacation. A $5 materials fee is payable to the instructor. Your instructor is Bill Anthony, well travelled and respected lecturer and former travel agent.

Aging with Dignity - preparing for long term care
As medical science progresses and Baby Boomers age, there are an increasing number of folks who will need long term care services before they die. This class will cover the intricacies of what Medicare will pay, when Medicaid will pay, when private insurance is appropriate and all the other options a person should consider when planning for their own care, or care of an aging family member. Long term care does NOT have to be a nursing home -- know your choices, learn the costs, be prepared to age with dignity. Instructor, Dr. Stana Martin, has a PhD in Communication. Due to family experience, she left full time university teaching to help families learn about, and prepare for caring for elder family members.
