The Child Growth and Development Department (CDCG) at MCC-Penn Valley is recognized as a leader in providing comprehensive education for aspiring early childhood and youth professionals. CDCG offers college credit courses on and off campus, via internet, television and field-based methods of instruction. Schedules are designed to meet the needs of the student.
The Child Growth and Development Associate of Applied Science program recently became
accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
This places MCC-Penn Valley in the top 10% of all AAS degree programs in the country.
