Overview

Earn college credit in high school for technical skills through Advanced Standing Articulated Credit.

If you're a high school student who has mastered concepts and skills in certain technical areas, you may be able to earn college credit for those courses. This means you can save time and money by not having to repeat that training in college.

Eligibility

To be eligible, your high school career center must have an "articulation agreement" with MCC in the career or technical area you're studying. To take these courses, you don't need a given GPA, test score or demonstrated proficiency. You must, however, demonstrate an 80% competency mastery upon completion of the course or program in order to earn credit.

We then hold the credit until you complete 15 credit hours with MCC. You have up to two years to claim this credit.

Cost

Zero.
